In 2002, our visionary founder, Luisa Fuentes, spearheaded a transformation in early childhood education. Driven by her passion for nurturing young minds and expanding educational opportunities in the USA, Luisa established the inaugural Rayito de Sol school, pioneering full Spanish immersion and cultural awareness with unwavering quality.

As a Latina professional, Luisa epitomizes entrepreneurship, education, and cultural leadership within the BIPOC, Hispanic, and Andean communities she represents.

With over two decades of experience, Luisa and her exceptional team have honed their approach, seamlessly integrating cultural authenticity with innovative educational practices. Also we have embraced the STEAM framework (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) in every classroom, cultivating an environment where young learners flourish.

Our dedication to excellence has garnered prestigious accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s oldest and largest certifying organization, and recognition from local and regional authorities. Our curriculum fosters social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development in children ages 6 months – 6 years. This includes providing activities that promote language skills, creative expression, problem-solving, and math in a stimulating learning environment. Culture is integrated into all aspects of learning through native Spanish-speaking teachers and staff who deliver our curriculum in a nurturing way.
