“We are absolutely grateful to have found Rayito. Within the first month of attendance we noticed such a difference in our child’s development. We can see he’s cared for and feels safe when he’s dropped off and immediately can immerse himself with his class and teachers.”

– Alexis D.

“We love Rayito de Sol so much. The teachers care so much about their students, and they clearly love being teachers. The community is warm and welcoming, and they often have fun family events. It’s been amazing watching our daughter come home with new Spanish words everyday!”

Frequently Asked Questions

No! 80% of our families primarily speak English. Because a child is in their optimal learning years before Kindergarten, we see many families using this time to develop a second language for their child.

This is one of the most common questions we get from parents. Your child will still learn English at home, through friends, and everyday conversations outside of school. For instance, enrolling your child in a Spanish Immersion daycare or preschool like Rayito de Sol, where they teach in Spanish while letting your child interact with family members in English at home, will help them learn both languages simultaneously.

Our program runs year-round, and provides programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and children preparing for kindergarten. Our program is structured to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

Research shows that children who learn a second language early have better problem-solving skills, increased empathy, better memory recall and a stronger sense of cultural awareness. You can learn more about these and other benefits through this blog post.
